“LONDON ROAD BY SHATTERED GLOBE IS ABOUT YEARNING FOR NORMALCY IN A CRISIS — AND REMINDS US WHAT OFF-LOOP THEATER CAN DO.”
Chris JonesChicago Tribune - ★★★★
Determined and tenacious, the residents of Ipswich, UK mobilize to overcome the immense fear and media circus that unfolds following the serial murder of 5 sex workers in their small town. This experimental and innovative new musical is based on a true story, using verbatim dialogue recorded during interviews with the people of Ipswich. Brought to the American stage for the first time ever, London Road is an uplifting story that reveals how a devastating tragedy can spark empathy and engender community resilience.

Sara Geist
Sara Geist is a Chicago indie folk/rock singer/songwriter. A life-long performer, Sara started her career at age 12 as a singer and actor, and performed professionally on stage and screen until the pandemic, when she made songwriting her primary focus. Her music employs thoughtful storytelling through casual yet compelling lyrics and emotive performances; Bartees Strange called one song “poetry.” Her sound draws stylistically from influences like Joni Mitchell, Phoebe Bridgers, and the Beths, with a bit of midwest emo flavor.
Her band includes Steven Schaeffer on bass, Tariq Shihadah on guitar, and Vince DeRay on drums.
Her debut EP, DEBRIS, is available on all streaming platforms now.
